Why is every battle 3 tier split this season?
I am sure we used to have mostly same tier mm last recon.

I didn't see anything in patch notes saying if you play tier 8 you will ALWAYS get +2 match making.

Makes it MUCH harder to get top12 if like me you play a very non meta premium 8 VK168. especially with most if not all the tier X gold spamming tier 8s

Was the reason for the nerf the fact that unpaid beta map testers were having too  much fun?

Finished campaign that's 50 battles plus probably 40% more that I was bottom 3.

remember 3/15=20% chance to be bottom 3 - If you are average player in average tank of average tier.
But when playing below average tanks and ALWAYS bottom tier probably need to double that to 40%.

So say  65-70 battles, all in tier 8 vehicles - all but two were 8/9/10 split. one was 8/9, and one was all 8.

Just not playing unsuited tanks doesn't make you a "meta slave" - and that's not what I wrote.

 

You don't have to be OP to do fine at recon mode. I almost only played tier 8 and 9 tanks (save for a few tier 10 battles), in definitely non-meta tanks, and did fine with them. But if know you're likely going to be bottom tier in a tier 8-10 battle, you need to choose something that can work in that situation.

 

So what I wrote is very relevant. Just like the map is relevant to battles, but some choose to ignore it, that's on the player, not the messenger.
