As per WG suggestion , post here (they said) :-

As i asked WG via a ticket " Why start Onslaught on ANZ if it cant be finished on ANZ "

Ping to HK isnt great for competitive modes , gone from Silver A to Bronze D in a session or 2 on HK

after the plug was pulled on ANZ .

So as i asked WG why start an event on ANZ only to pull the plug half way through ?

This seems a pattern , more events going to HK to seduce players away from ANZ ? Eventual closing of the server ?

Regardless poor form from WG to start an event on ANZ to pull the plug halfway through and force ppl to go to HK

to finish it.

Before ppl say " Costs money for a server "  Im pretty sure WG has the money ....

Onslaught has been moved to HK due to the low numbers on ANZ https://worldoftanks.asia/en/news/general-news/onslaught-mid-season-update-may23/

"From May 23, ANZ Prime Time will be switched off and HK Prime Time will be extended by 2 hours to start at 16:00 UTC+8 instead of 18:00 UTC+8."

When numbers are low on the server it is robbing players from the Random queue as they are sitting longer in an Onslaught queue so impacts all players on the server, it is better to consolidate that special play mode on one location.  I guess they had the expectation that numbers would remain good but it seemed pretty clear that players were coming across from HK which only works after around 8pm due to time differences, and weekday in particular was poor so they changed it.

Thanks Wasaabi , its pretty much what i stated to WG .

Going forward WG imo shouldnt start an event that cannot be finished unless changing servers , without prior notice . (before the event starts)

Pretty much wasted my time . Tried to claw further but its fairly impossible on HK ...

Not so bad for FL or SH as their not as competitive ...

Except WG didn't start an event that they knew could not be finished, from what is written.

They thought it would run fine, then after it starts found it wasn't sufficient to continue. But if you just say they shouldn't have tried anyway because that could be the outcome, then that means they would never run any event at all, since that could be the outcome. i.e. there's no way to predict the future.

It now cost 44k to repair super HT making the mode MUCH less affordable. why don't they think of this when they increase the HP total?

stop the pay2win - we buy premium account isn't that enough? please remove premium ammo/consumables from random battles or make them affordable for ALL PLAYERS
